Tax Policy
How taxes apply to the commissions you earn as a Campus Ambassador or Campus Partnerships Manager.

Amounts are tax-exclusive
Every commission, sale amount, and balance figure shown in your Big Brains Earning dashboard is tax-exclusive. That is, the numbers you see reflect your gross earnings before any tax or statutory deduction is applied — they are not the final amount you will receive in your bank account.
Deduction at withdrawal
When you request a withdrawal, applicable taxes are calculated and deducted from the withdrawal amount before payout. The amount transferred to your bank account is the balance remaining after this tax deduction. The specific tax rate applied depends on your country of residence and any tax regulations that apply to you at the time of withdrawal.
Why we do this
Displaying tax-exclusive figures in your dashboard keeps your commission and performance numbers consistent and comparable over time, regardless of changes in tax rates or regulations. The actual deduction is only calculated and applied once, at the point your withdrawal is processed and paid out.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reporting your earnings from Big Brains Earning in accordance with the tax laws that apply to you, including any additional obligations beyond what is withheld at the time of withdrawal. We recommend keeping your own records of withdrawal confirmations for your tax filings.
Questions about a specific withdrawal
If you have a question about the tax deduction applied to a specific withdrawal, contact us at support@bigbrainsearning.com with your withdrawal details and we'll be happy to explain the calculation.
